Chillicothe OH - - YOUR Chillicothe 757 Colts continued some sloppy play in the second game of the season falling behind 8-2 after the first five innings of play. Fortunately, the Colts were able to string together multiple hits in the bottom of the 6th inning to make it a tie game heading into the 7th inning.  The big 2-run blast off by Emmitt Cunningham’s bat on the 0-2 count scoring both Daniel Haller and Cunningham to give the Colts a 10-8 victory over a very good Dayton Classics club.

The Colts earned the victory despite allowing the Dayton Classics to score five runs in the top of the 5th inning. The Colts tied up the game at 8 in the bottom of the 6th inning with Kyle Wingo's double to score 2 runs. The 6th inning proved to be a productive one as the Colts scored six runs total with Drew Seymour, Cole Ratcliff and DC Dailey driving in runs before Wingo’s double.

On the bump, the Colts were able to get an early look at several arms with Daniel Haller, Bryce McWhorter, Nick Salyer, Lucas Foglesong, Cole Ratcliff, Roman Long, Drew Seymour, and Ryan Schwartz all getting an inning of work.

The Colts open up league play Sunday at Branch Rickey Field as they square off with the Portsmouth 23 Blue Jays for a 2 pm DH.
