Chillicothe American Legion Baseball Colts Claims Lead In Fifth Inning To Defeat Cincinnati Impact 18U
Chillicothe American Legion Baseball Colts ran off with the lead late in the game in a 4-3 victory over Cincinnati Impact 18U on Saturday. Chillicothe American Legion Baseball Colts was down 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Wyatt Thatcher doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.
Cincinnati Impact Cincinnati Impact 18U got things started in the first inning. Cincinnati Impact Cincinnati Impact 18U scored two runs when Kyle Stoughton homered.
Reid Mengerink got the start for Chillicothe American Legion Baseball Colts. The bulldog allowed four hits and three runs over three innings, striking out one.
Logan Detty was on the mound for Cincinnati Impact 18U. The right-hander allowed three hits and four runs over four and third innings, striking out two. Ethan Vaught threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.
