Chillicothe OH -- Improvements and work through some sweat equity continues at Post 757's Hoffman Field this fall along with a lot of fall baseball action!
The infield was sprayed to kill off some of the problems we've experienced with crab grass and we have a group coming back mid-October to treat again and overseed with new grass for next season.
We are also pushing forward on Phase II of the Hoffman Field Restoration Plan where we are meeting with contractors to discuss the dugouts and some other improvements.
We have had a lot of help from parents and others this fall as we spruce up the place a little bit with a lot of cleaning up in the field house, weed whacking the entire Post 757 complex along with Hoffman Field. THANK YOU to EVERYONE that's jumped in and helped spruce up the place. We will get some more pictures posted soon of the cleanup!
If you are lookign for an excuse to eat out this Sunday make sure you check out the upcoming Dine & Donate at the Applebees in Chillicothe. We are hoping to raise monies to purchase a striping kit for the zero turn mower....I can only imagine the creativity we will get from Coach Derek Milliken and others when add the striping kit!!
