Seeding
Seeding is based on win/loss record, In case of a tie in points between two or more teams, the following tiebreaker system will be used to determine the seeding of the teams:

- Head-to-head record between the two teams that are tied for the final spot (head-to-head record only applied if tie is between two teams).
- Fewest runs allowed between the tied team/s.
- Highest total run differential; NOTE: Total run differential is the sum of each game's differential.
- If there is still a tie, then the teams which are tied will come down to a coin toss.

The Bash Tournament is a tune up for the American Legion Region V Tournament. In 2017. we will expand the tournament to 6 - 12 teams, please contact us if you are interested in participating in 2017.
Information
The tournament will be played by 2016 American Legion Baseball Rules with a few exceptions:
- All Games will be 7 inning games.
- A two hour time limit will be in effect for Friday play only. No new innings will start after 2 hoursl If tie after completed inning, the visiting team put the player that made the last out in the previous inning on second base. All new batters start with 3 balls & 2 strikes. Teams will begin with 0 outs. After 3 extra innings are completed and the game remains tied, both teams will tie and be credited with 1/2 a point for seeding purposes.
- We will not monitor pitching but expect all coaches to use best judgement and adhere to established American Legion Rules (12 innings in 3 days). The 10-run mercy rule will be in effect after 5 innings of play or 4 1/2 innings if home team is winning
There will be no entry fee for the tournament. Reminders:
Each team will be asked to:
- Bring game balls to the tournament & help with all foul balls
- Pay for 1 umpire for each of their games
Reminders:
- The VA Stadium does not permit metal cleats, sunflower seeds or chewing gum on the playing field.
- An admission fee will be charged at the VA.
