Jim Jadwin, a mainstay of American Legion Baseball, was instrumental in putting together the Chillicothe Post 757 American Legion Baseball Program in 1969 after his own baseball career ended.
Jim, a former catcher, played 6 years in the Cleveland Indians minor league system ending his career at AAA Indianapolis.
With Jim’s leadership and guidance, Post 757 Baseball players have received more than 65 college scholarships and seven professional contracts.
Jim also served as the tournament director for the 2008 American Legion National Regional Tournament hosted at V. A. Memorial Stadium.

GAME LENGTH/MERCY RULES: A coin-flip is conducted to determine home team for all games in pool play; higher seed will be home team after the tournament seeding is complete. Teams will play seven-inning games (weather permitting). A two-hour time limit will be in effect for all games on Thursday, Friday & Saturday of the tournament; the official time will be noted by the home plate umpire and start from the 1st pitch of the game (NOTE: Both head coaches should verify start time with the umpire). The Chillicothe Post 757 Junior Colts continues to develop following up a very succesful 2017 season (28 -11) with a State Tournament Runner-up finish among all teams in the State of Ohio that participate in Junior American Legion Baseball. The 2018 Junior Colts also had success at other tournaments including winning the Hillsboro Tournament of Champions.
We are excited to have players from the 2018 move up to our Senior American Legion roster in 2019. The cupboard is full for the Junior squad as we return some players in 2019 while adding several new players from the 2018 14U group along with some new players in the Post 757 organization.

The Post 757 Colts have some holes to fill due to players graduating out of the program. The Chillicothe Post 757 Colts Program had a good showing this past week with all of our teams in action.
The Post 757 Senior Team clinches the South Central Ohio League title along with a #2 seed in the Ohio Region V American Legion Tournament starting tomorrow at the VA Memorial Stadium.
The Chillicothe Post 757 Colts Junior team went 4-1 in the Ohio Junior American Legion Tournament in Lancaster and was the state-runner up.
The 14U Colts continued a very strong 2018 with another tournament championship, winning the Sugar Grove Summer Slam Tournament.
The 14/13U Post 757 team was the tournament runner-up in the Jeffersonville Tournament.
The 12U Post 757 Colts continued to throttle their opponents going undefeated and bringing home another tournament championship in the Pickerington Summer Baseball Classic Tournament.
