Chillicothe, OH-- YOUR Post 757 Colts open up the 2022 Region V Ohio American Legion Tournament with a 9 - 0 win over Circleville Post 134. 

Post 757 jumped on the board in the top of the 1st inning scoring two runs with Braylon Leach (2024, Huntington) leading off the game with a single. Rece Allen (2024, Zane Trace) reached on an error bunting Leach over with Leach moving over to 3B. DJ Crocker (2024 Huntington) draws a walk followed by Jacob Lenox (2022 Southeastern) wearing a pitch and Leach scoring on a wild pitch. Ayden Hutchison (2024 Chillicothe) keeps the line moving drawing a walk to score Allen. 

Chillicothe Colts Post 757 Sr. 18U secured the victory thanks to six runs in the sixth inning. The rally was led by singles by Lenox, Mason Siberell (202 Chillicothe), Trent Wade (2025 Chillicothe), and David Magill (2023 Adena), a walk by Allen, and an error on a ball
put in play by Hutchinson.

Hutchinson led things off on the pitcher's mound for Chillicothe Colts Post 757 Sr. 18U. The righty lasted five innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out eight. Austin Magill (2025 Adena) works two innings of relief for Post 757 giving up one hit and striking out two to shut the door for the Colts.

Post 757 gets right back in action tomorrow at 11:30 am against Portsmouth Post 23.

Chillicothe OH -- The Post 757 Colts JR American Legion Team (20-6) continued a dominant run through the Region V Junior American Legion Regional Tournament as they knocked off Portsmouth Post 23 for the second time in two days. Post 757 provided more than enough run support as they bang out 16 hits in the 11-1 victory in the shortened 5-inning game. Starting pitcher Maverick Frump (2024, Unioto) tosses 59 pitches over 5 innings of one-hit baseball giving up 1 unearned run along with 2 strikeouts and a walk.

Post 757 moves on to the State American Legion Junior tournament where they are scheduled to play Region VI Champion at Beaver’s Field in Lancaster Ohio, on Wednesday, July 14th at 1:30 pm.
